Here at ONA, our mission is clear: to enhance the lives of those in our community.
Nestled in the heart of Olneyville, spanning Providence City Wards 15 & 6,
we are committed to empowering individuals and families facing economic challenges.
What fuels our work?
It starts with our unwavering dedication to confronting the critical issues that impact Olneyville directly. From economic hardships to social inequalities, we're deeply invested in researching and understanding the unique struggles our neighborhood encounters. But our mission doesn't stop at awareness—we're all about action.
Through education and leadership development initiatives, we strive to equip our residents with the knowledge and skills necessary to advocate for themselves and their community. Workshops, trainings, and community gatherings serve as platforms for learning and empowerment.
As pioneers in community organizing, we aim to amplify the voices of low-income residents and drive collective action towards tangible solutions. Together, we tackle issues such as poverty, gentrification, displacement, racism, and other systemic barriers.

Membership is open to all persons living in Olneyville, including all of Ward 15 & Ward 6.
Solidarity Membership
Membership is additionally open to persons not living in the immediate area who are interested in working with ONA for the purposes and goals of the organization.
